Tools Panel
The Tools Panel centralizes the management of most of the features of this application, with a few more provided through the context menu. This panel can be expanded/collapsed clicking on its top right green icon, and moved dragging its title bar.

The Display section provides control for showing/removing the background image, cross-hair and reference grid. It also has two buttons to zoom in (up to 2000%) and out (to 20%).

The Setup section groups the calibration and configuration.

There is a section for the background image, the source or model used as base for the traces.

The Edit section provides the usual copy/cut/paste/delete/select/clear options, plus the rotate shape and list of shapes.

With the controls in the Group and Lock section is is possible to make sets of shapes, and lock them.

The File section allows to save the traces in a host of different formats, and to load data in a limited set of formats and transform it into traces.

The traces are incorporated to the plot using the primitives section. The shapes can be points, lines, rectangles, ellipses, polylines and others.

The green strip shows the mouse coordinates and the current zoom value. The x (on the left) and y (on the right) are shown in black when the plot has been calibrated; otherwise, they are in red. The values may have a trailing letter, such as u, m, K, M to indicate scale (sub)multipliers (1/1000000, 1/1000, 1000, 1000000).

Sometimes some shapes overlap other shapes. They can be reordered using the buttons in the Order section, to send them back or bring them to front.

The shapes can be organized using the Align section, to make vertical, center or horizontal matches.

The Layers section provides access to the layers list and to the image processing routines.

The Exit section has a button for an off-line help and the way to exit the application.
